Laizer Beam and Her Projector Nights

Image
Laizer Beam and Her Projector Nights Every now and then someone asks me to sketch something by hand instead of using the AI‑generated materials I normally create for my image albums. This time, the request was simple: draw Laizer Beam doing her thing. So I grabbed my pencils and sketched one of my favorite everyday scenes — my cat sitting in her spot, watching her projector cat‑game videos like she’s settling in for a private screening. In the drawing, she’s perched on the floor, totally locked in on the glowing scene in front of her. The colors are soft and warm, the way the room feels when she settles in for her “showtime.” Outside the window, the trees and sky blend into this dreamy backdrop, almost like her imagination is spilling outward. The red streaks and beams give it that sci‑fi twist — because of course Laizer Beam would watch something dramatic. This sketch wasn’t about perfection. It was about capturing her vibe: curious, calm, and completely invested in her little ...

📻 Aisle Blue Radio Archives — Tracks 1–3 Three radio calls. Three warehouse stories. One album beginning. Aisle Blue radio archives It started with a simple idea: what if we archived the radio calls? Not the big corporate announcements. Not the dramatic incidents. The little calls. The ones that happen in the middle of an ordinary shift and somehow become the stories you remember. So the first three tracks of the Aisle Blue Radio Archives are now on record. 🍉 01 — Watermelon in B1 Tony gets called to Aisle B1. There's a watermelon on the shelf. And apparently, it's sitting right beside the American Pride decorations. Nobody really knows how it got there. Nobody needs a full investigation. It just needs to become a song. 🥖 02 — Slip Sheet: Non-Standard Acquisition Two blue pallets of flour. Loaded longways, side-by-side in a trailer. The forks can get underneath them. That's not the problem. The problem is the steel along the trailer wall and the very real pos...

For transparency purposes, I would like to clarify what happened. The phone blinked. I answered. A person named Marilyn requested clarification regarding 45 cases that had apparently completed a journey through the system without completing a corresponding journey through reality. I explained that the work had been processed. Marilyn then asked who p...

The Rusty Deck Sessions: Two Songs Forward, One Very Important Detour

The Rusty Deck Sessions: Two Songs Forward, One Very Important Detour The Rusty Deck Sessions only moved forward two songs this round. Not because the stories weren't ready. Not because the crew ran out of things to say. We ran into something much more important: The music wasn't sounding like the Rusty Deck anymore. The dialogue was working. The characters were working. Dram was getting increasingly confused by organic life, Bianca and Claudia were arguing about maintenance protocols, and Bammer was quietly sitting in the corner making music like he always does. But underneath all of that, the musical style started becoming too repetitive. Short loops. Predictable patterns. Music that sounded like it was waiting for the dialogue instead of actually being part of the scene. That's not what these sessions are supposed to feel like. The Rusty Deck is a place where the crew happens to be telling stories while the ship keeps running around them. The music should breathe with t...

Safety Logistics Captain 001 – Issue #1: Simulation Liability

Image
Safety Logistics Captain 001 – Issue #1: Simulation Liability You've seen him before. Standing silently at the end of an aisle. Clipboard in paw. Expression unreadable. To Jacques, this is more than a warehouse. It's a living simulation where every decision matters. Every horn. Every stop. Every blind corner. Every glance in a mirror. He doesn't believe accidents begin with the big mistakes. They begin with the tiny ones nobody notices. So he watches. He waits. And when the moment is right... He tests. To Jacques, these surprise simulations aren't pranks—they're rehearsals for the day when the danger is real. If a harmless foam cat can make someone slam on the brakes today, maybe they'll react fast enough when it's a distracted coworker tomorrow. The employees don't exactly see it that way. Around the break room, they call him Simulation Liability Cat. The forklift operators trade stories like campfire legends. "He was hiding behind the pallet stack...

Aisle Blue: The Origin

Image
Aisle Blue: The Origin Have you ever wondered where the stores go after the lights are turned off for the last time? Not the buildings. Not the parking lots. The stores themselves. In the Forklift Yacht Club universe, they never truly disappear. They cross over. Welcome to Aisle Blue. Aisle Blue is the world beyond our world—a place where the spirit of every fallen retail chain continues to exist. The shelves are still stocked. The registers still beep. The forklifts still roam the back rooms. Time moves differently here, preserving memories of stores that millions of people once walked through. Every closed retailer leaves behind a piece of itself. Their colors, mascots, displays, forgotten products, and traditions become part of Aisle Blue, creating one enormous retail dimension built from nostalgia, history, and imagination. The employees who remain aren't ghosts—they're caretakers. They keep the aisles organized, the lights glowing, and the stories alive for the next genera...

Aisle Blue – Part 2 (Songs 6–10) Is Here. The night shift continues...

Aisle Blue – Part 2 (Songs 6–10) Is Here The night shift continues... Steve thought learning the rules would help him escape. Instead, every experiment only made management think he was becoming the perfect associate. Part 2 of Aisle Blue: Welcome To The Family,   dives deeper into the strange logic of the store, where doing everything wrong somehow looks exactly right. This release includes: - Song 6 – Ducati – A quiet discovery in Electronics where Steve meets Ducati, a longtime associate who has mastered the display gaming system but can never truly leave it. - Song 7 – Performance Review – Steve's attempts to understand the store are mistaken for leadership potential, and management believes "Steve" is only a nickname for Jacques. - Song 8 – The Wrong Way Looks Right – Hoping to get fired, Steve builds an over-the-top Halloween display from store assets... and accidentally creates the season's biggest success. - Song 9 – The Scariest Part – Breakroom gossip spread...

🐟 The Tuna Order Protocol Is Here

🐟 The Tuna Order Protocol Is Here The cats have officially discovered food delivery. And naturally, they have completely misunderstood how it works. The Tuna Order Protocol is officially released. It all started when the cats discovered that humans could order food from a glowing rectangle and have another human bring it directly to their door. To the cats, this could only mean one thing: They could finally order tuna. There was just one problem. The tuna came in a sealed can. The cats could not open the can. So began the investigation. They tried Aisle Blue, hoping delivered canned tuna would somehow arrive ready to eat. It did not. Then they discovered Tail Flick Delivery and found Pawsta Pans, where they ordered tuna casserole. The container was excellent. The paper lid was accessible. The tuna was good. The vegetables were not. Four paws. Then came Fork Lift and Soups, where they finally found something promising: A salmon fillet. A real piece of fish. No casserole. No noodles. No...

Catalina Valentina — Crash Era Blog Release (Part 2)“Velvet Meadows, Unmasked” —

Catalina Valentina — Crash Era Blog Release (Part 2)“Velvet Meadows, Unmasked” —  The Night She Finally Heard Everything For years, Catalina Valentina performed inside a haze she thought was part of the job. The catnip glow softened the lights, blurred the crowds, and turned Velvet Meadows into a dream she never questioned. Her voice floated, her steps drifted, and the nights passed without edges. But on the ninth track of the album — Velvet Meadows, Unmasked — something changed.Catalina stepped onto the stage without catnip for the first time in forever. Her voice didn’t rise. It didn’t shimmer. It didn’t float. It dropped — dark, deep, worn, and honest. And for the first time, she heard the world around her.The velvet curtains weren’t glowing. The palms weren’t perfect. The gold trim wasn’t gold. The crowd wasn’t a blur of warmth. And her band… Her band was out of tune. Not dramatically. Not embarrassingly. Just enough that she could finally hear the truth:She had been performing blin...

Catalina Valentina: The Velvet Meadows Arc — Part 1 (Songs 1–5 Blog Release)“The Descent Begins”

Image
Catalina Valentina didn’t fall into addiction — she drifted. Part 1 of The Velvet Meadows Arc follows her through the first five songs, each one capturing a moment where her world becomes softer, blurrier, and more dependent on the scent she keeps tucked inside her velvet gloves. Song 1 sets the stage: Catalina begins noticing the cracks in her glamorous life. The Forklift Yacht Club crowds feel familiar, the backstage chatter repeats, and the nights blend together. She’s still shining, still adored, but something inside her is slipping. Song 2, “Velvet Paws,” is where she finds comfort in catnip. She hides it in her gloves, telling herself it’s harmless. The scent calms her, steadies her, makes the endless repetition feel warm instead of hollow. It’s her secret, her softness, her velvet escape. Song 3, “Orange County Meowdown,” is the moment she realizes the truth: the stage, the expensive dinners, the friends she keeps, even the fans who pull her into VIP rooms — none of ...
