There are rules.

There are procedures.

And then there is August.

The Halloween crew had barely finished getting the spooky season ready when someone decided it was time to start sending Christmas merchandise into the warehouse.

The Halloween cats were not impressed.

They gathered around the incoming Christmas freight, stared at the pallets, and came to a unanimous conclusion:

Sandy Claws can wait his turn.

Unfortunately for Sandy Claws, this wasn't a suggestion.

🚨 Seasonal Control Procedure

The Halloween crew immediately initiated Seasonal Freight Containment Protocol.

Sandy Claws was wrapped.

Then wrapped again.

Then somebody brought out the stretch film.

Before long, Santa was sitting securely on a pallet like any other piece of seasonal freight.

A shipping label was attached:

DESTINATION: NPZ-3 ISLAND
SERVICE: ECONOMY
SHIP DATE: NOVEMBER 30
DO NOT OPEN UNTIL NOVEMBER 25

Reason for shipment?

Failure to observe seasonal boundaries.

The Halloween supervisor signed the paperwork.

The forklift operator loaded the pallet.

And Sandy Claws was officially removed from the building.

🏝️ Welcome to NPZ-3

NPZ-3 is a remote island with a very simple purpose:

Things that aren't supposed to be here yet go there.

Christmas decorations arriving before Halloween?

NPZ-3.

Holiday music in September?

NPZ-3.

Someone putting up a Christmas tree before Thanksgiving?

Definitely NPZ-3.

The island's receiving department doesn't ask many questions.

They just unload the pallet.

And wait.

🎃 Halloween Comes First

The Halloween cats aren't against Christmas.

They just believe in proper seasonal inventory rotation.

Halloween gets October.

Thanksgiving gets its turn.

Then Christmas can show up and take over every available square foot of the warehouse.

But until then?

Sandy Claws can sit on his pallet.

He'll be released when it's his turn.

Because around the Forklift Yacht Club, there's one rule the Halloween crew takes very seriously:

Spooky season has no shortcuts.

And absolutely no exceptions.

🌊 LAIZER BEAM: TIDAL FREQUENCY An Interview with Surfer Beam The FYC Boardwalk Journal The boardwalk was unusually busy this afternoon. Apparently, word travels fast when a blue-gray cat disappears inside a massive wave, shoots through the barrel, and comes flying out the other side while everyone else on the beach is convinced the wave is about to collapse. We found Surfer Beam at Catch of the Day, still wearing her wetsuit, her modified surfboard leaning against the wall beside her. She was halfway through dinner. We asked if we could talk. 🎬 FYC Movie Week Update! 🍿 Things are coming together! The first batch of FYC buttons is finished, and we're putting the final touches on them. I still need to take some better photos, but I'm really happy with how they turned out! We're also working on stickers and a few other surprises as we get closer to FYC Movie Week. I'm thinking about giving away a few buttons as special event gifts while making the rest available in limited quantities. 👀 Stay tuned for more updates—and don't forget to comment on the event with your availability so we can coordinate movie days with as many crew members as possible! 🐈 The cats have inspected the buttons. 🐾 Their tails have approved... mostly.
