Too Old for This Shirt: The Forklift Yacht Club Work-Safe Edition
Sometimes the best merchandise ideas start with a simple request from a Forklift Yacht Club follower:
> “Can you change this shirt so I can actually wear it to work?”
Fair enough. 😂
The original idea was based on the classic “Too Old for This Shit” sentiment. Funny? Absolutely. Workplace appropriate? Maybe not.
So we gave it the Forklift Yacht Club treatment.
Meet the Dock Division Edition
Instead of shit, we're dealing with something far more dangerous:
THE DOCK.
The finished design reads:
TOO OLD FOR THIS SHIRT
TOO OLD FOR THIS DOCK
TOO OLD TO RECEIVE THE NEXT MISSION
TOO OLD FOR ANOTHER PALLET
TOO OLD FOR “JUST ONE MORE”
TOO OLD FOR THIS AISLE
TOO OLD FOR THIS SHIFT
TOO OLD FOR—
I’LL BE ON BREAK.
And that's where the mission ends.
No profanity. No angry rant. Just the quiet declaration of someone who has completed enough logistical operations for one shift.
Why “Mission”?
Because Forklift Yacht Club has always treated the warehouse like a strange combination of military logistics, maritime operations, and retail chaos.
You don't simply get sent somewhere.
You receive a mission.
You don't simply move a pallet.
You execute a pallet operation.
And when someone says:
> “While you're over there, can you just—”
That's when you know the mission has expanded beyond its original scope. 😂
And Then There's Aisle Blue
You'll notice the little blue-and-white cone emblems running down the design.
That's AB — Aisle Blue.
It's one of those little pieces of FYC lore that makes more sense once you've been around the story for a while.
We turned the AB emblem into a traffic-cone-style mark and used it as the bullet for each line.
Getting that little cone exactly right turned into its own adventure. 😵😂
Built for the Workplace
The whole point of this version was to keep the attitude without putting something on the shirt that could get you in trouble at work.
It's for the person who has:
moved enough pallets for one lifetime,
walked enough aisles,
answered enough questions,
survived enough “just one more” requests,
and has finally decided that the next mission can wait.
