 Santa vs. Krampus: The Season Has Changed

It’s officially October.

Somehow, that sentence feels wrong.

It feels like yesterday we were just getting started with the Dramática series — figuring out the ship, the strange places it was going, the people and creatures aboard it, and what kind of music could possibly tell a story that refuses to stay in one timeline.

And now the seasons have changed again.

The QR codes on the share page have officially been updated for the season.

This time, we're opening the door to something a little colder, stranger, and considerably more dangerous.

Santa vs. Krampus

Yep.

That's the theme.

Not a quiet Christmas album.

Not another collection of songs about sitting around a fireplace drinking cocoa.

This is Santa vs. Krampus.

Two legends.

Two completely different approaches to the holiday season.

And, because this is us, there's probably going to be considerably more chaos than anyone originally planned.

Krampus doesn't exactly believe in the spirit of Christmas.

Santa, meanwhile, has had centuries to perfect the logistics.

You can probably see where this is going.

The Season Has a Sound

Every season we've been building has its own personality.

The music changes.

The artwork changes.

The stories change.

Even the QR codes get a seasonal makeover.

It's a small thing, but it's also a marker.

You can look at the page and know:

We're somewhere else now.

The Dramática story is still out there, still looping through its impossible timeline, but the rest of the universe doesn't stop just because one spaceship is stuck in time.

Apparently, neither do we.

So while Dramática continues doing whatever Dramática does, we're opening another door for the holidays.

And behind that door?

Santa.

Krampus.

And absolutely no guarantee that either of them is going to behave.

Welcome to the Holiday Season

October is here.

The decorations aren't all up yet.

The snow hasn't arrived.

Christmas is still technically a ways off.

But the music doesn't care.

The seasonal QR codes are live, the next chapter is taking shape, and somewhere out there Santa is probably checking a list while Krampus is sharpening something he probably shouldn't have.

Santa vs. Krampus has begun.
