Steve thought learning the rules would help him escape. Instead, every experiment only made management think he was becoming the perfect associate.

- Song 8 – The Wrong Way Looks Right – Hoping to get fired, Steve builds an over-the-top Halloween display from store assets... and accidentally creates the season's biggest success.
- Song 9 – The Scariest Part – Breakroom gossip spreads after customers become terrified of the haunted house's most realistic "animatronic," who turns out to be the department manager simply trying to work at his desk.
- Song 10 – Department 404 – Steve discovers the store has quietly created Jacques' Favorite Finds, a strange lost-and-found shelf filled with go-backs and random items he kept picking up while wandering the store.
The mystery continues to grow as Aisle Blue quietly adapts around its employees, and Steve begins to realize the store may be paying much closer attention than anyone imagined.
