New Album Announcement: Anomalous Signal — The Amber Skye Files


A new story is coming to the Forklift Yacht Club universe.

Anomalous Signal: The Amber Skye Files explores the other side of the mystery behind Amber Skye’s transmissions.

While Amber Skye — Unknown Relay follows the explorer sending her reports into the unknown, this album follows the team receiving those signals and trying to understand what they discovered.

A strange broadcast.

An impossible signal.

A transmission that wasn't supposed to reach them.

The investigation begins with a simple question:

How did an unscheduled broadcast appear on Channel 9?

This album also had a unique creation process.

While working on the songs, I originally planned to continue creating after taking a short break for the night. Suno’s credits reset during that time, so the album creation happened in stages instead of all at once.

Then "later" became even later because real life stepped in—I had truck repairs that needed attention before I could return to the album.

Sometimes the story has to wait while reality happens.

But that unexpected pause actually fit the theme of this album.

Anomalous Signal is about patience, discovery, and following a mystery one piece at a time.

The same way Laizer, Jacques, and Bammer slowly decode the signal, this album came together piece by piece.
