Piper Imps: The Mistake Concert 🎵 A Message From the Piper Imps

Greetings, humans!

We have excellent news!

We have been summoned.

Again.

This is very exciting.

We love being summoned.

Some of you seem confused about this.

We have noticed the screaming.

We have heard the running.

We have even seen students attempt to hide inside cupboards.

Please stop doing that.

We are musicians.

We are here to play music.

Someone made a mistake.

That means there is a concert!

HOORAY!

We have decided that some of our finest performances should be collected together so that everyone may enjoy them.

We call this collection:

The Mistake Concerts

You may have heard some students describe our performances as an "unfortunate consequence."

We do not understand this.

A consequence is something bad.

Our concerts are wonderful.

We have drums!

We have fiddles!

We have bagpipes!

Sometimes we have many bagpipes!

We have played for students in classrooms.

We have played in hallways.

We have played during breakfast.

We have played in libraries.

We were asked not to play in the library again.

We are still not sure why.

The humans tell us that we are supposed to disappear when the student learns their lesson.

This is very sad.

But we are always happy when someone makes another mistake.

Not because we want them to fail.

Of course not!

We want everyone to become excellent pipers.

We simply believe that excellent pipers should have excellent music while they are learning.

So please enjoy our finest performances.

Listen carefully.

You may hear the music of the Highlands.

You may hear ancient melodies.

You may hear stories that have been played by Piper Imps for longer than anyone remembers.

You may even hear a song that humans have never heard before.

We don't know what you call these stories.

We simply call them the old songs.

Perhaps someday you will understand them.

Perhaps not.

Either way...

We will keep playing.

Because that is what we do.

So if you hear bagpipes in the distance...

If you hear tiny footsteps approaching...

If your socks suddenly become wet...

If your kilt is somehow backwards...

Don't worry!

We have arrived.

And we have brought the band.

Now please take your seats.

The concert is about to begin.

HOORAY!
